WEST STEWARTSTOWN, NH—Emily Ann Woodard, 27, of West Stewartstown, NH, passed away unexpectedly at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, NH, on Thursday morning, July 22, 2010.
She was born in Berlin, NH, on July 17, 1983, a daughter of Donald Sweatt and Tammy Woodard. She attended school in Colebrook.
Emily loved to help people and she loved her family. One of her favorite pastimes was camping with her family. She also loved to be at home, and she was a very loving and caring mother. Emily was a music and movie fan, as well, and collected all of Elvis Presley’s music and movies.
She leaves behind her fiancé, Michael Newell of West Stewartstown,; two children, Kelly Marie Newell and Matthew Aaron Newell of West Stewartstown; her mother, Tammy Woodard of Columbia; her father, Donald Sweatt of Weirs Beach, NH; a sister, Felicia Sweatt of West Stewartstown; four brothers, Corey Sweatt and Eric O’Keefe both of Concord, NH, Jeremy O’Keefe of Berlin, NH, and Gerard Sweatt of Groveton, NH; two uncles, Francis Woodard of Raymond, NH, and Ronald Woodard of Columbia, NH; a nephew, Christopher Sweatt of West Stewartstown; and her great-aunt, Elva Woodard of West Stewartstown.
There are no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Colebrook, NH. The Reverend Craig Cheney will be the celebrant. A private interment will occur at a later date at the family lot in Island Pond, Vt.
Expressions of sympathy in Emily’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
