Obituary:
Marie-Paule Marchesseault Laperle, former Beecher Falls Postmaster (1980-1983), died at age 92, on Monday, July 20, 2010, at Charles-Lemoyne Hospital in Longueuil, near Montreal. She died in her sleep surrounded by her five children. She had moved to St. Lambert after her husband, Conrad Laperle's, death in March, 2002, while still living in Beecher Falls.

Memorial calling hours will be held at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook, NH, on Sunday, August 1, 2010, from 2 - 6 p.m. Memorial calling hours will also be held Monday, August 2, in Coaticook, Quebec, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Charron et Fils Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at St. Edmond's Catholic Church. An interment will immediately follow at St. Edmond's Cemetery.
