Cecile Fuller

CANAAN, VT -- Mrs. Cecile A. Fuller, 84, of Canaan, VT, passed away on Friday morning, September 14, 2007, at her home with her family at her side after a long period of failing health. Mrs. Fuller was born July 2, 1923, in Canaan, VT, a daughter of the late Isadore Cote and Eva (Favreau) Cote. She attended local schools before marrying Russell Fuller and raising her family in Canaan. She worked for many years at the Beecher Falls Division of Ethan Allen and retired from there in 1983. Mrs. Fuller enjoyed cooking and she loved to tend to her garden and canning the vegetables that she grew. She enjoyed going hunting with her husband and she was very outgoing, always loving to be outdoors. She was also an avid Red Sox fan. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Mrs. Fuller is survived by a daughter, Diane Guay of Canaan, VT; a son, Larry Fuller and wife, Celine, of Canaan, VT; a sister, Arlene Pelkey of Barre, VT; six grandchildren: Peter Guay and wife, Shelli, of Milton, VT, Kenneth Guay and wife, Sarah, of Colebrook, NH, Brad Fuller and fiancée, Rena Colby of Epsom, NH, Jasmine Fuller of Concord, NH, and Brittany Fuller and Michael Fuller of Canaan, VT; three great-grandchildren: Evan, Emily and Kate Guay of Milton, VT; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fuller is preceded in death by her husband, Russell, in 1983; a son, Russell “Butch” Fuller, Jr., in 1996; and two brothers, David and Gerard Cote. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening, September 17, 2007, from 7-9 p.m. at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 18 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert’s Parish with The Reverend Craig Cheney as celebrant. An interment service will follow at the Colebrook Village Cemetery.
