Jack H. Gordon

CLARKSVILLE, NH—Mr. Jack H. Gordon, 68, of Clarksville, NH, passed away suddenly on Monday afternoon, May 7, 2012, at his residence. He was born in Murrysville, Penn., on April 25, 1944, a son to the late Roy A. and Grace G. (Broome) Gordon. He was raised in western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. Jack’s career took him to locations all over the nation as a telecommunications lineman for more than twenty-five years. He moved to the north country of NH after retiring about ten years ago. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, and he could often be found outside tinkering on something. He clung to old-fashioned family values and if he was your friend, he was a loyal friend for life. His family was everything to him, and he cherished time with his grandchildren. His family will always remember that he always had an answer for everything and those answers were right most of the time. Jack leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Deborah (Crabtree) Gordon of Clarksville; his two sons, Michael Gordon and wife Tammy of Keene, NH, and Todd Gordon and wife Christina of Dracut, Mass.,; his daughter, Kelly Fitzgerald and husband Timothy of Lowell, Mass.; two brothers, Sheldon and David Gordon, both of Pittsburgh, Penn.; a sister, Susan Hails of North Huntington, Penn; ten grandchildren, Ashlee Gordon, Nichole Gordon, Nicholas Gordon, Isabele Gordon, Jacob Gordon, Stephanie Gordon, Magdaline Fitzgerald, Jack Fitzgerald, Alexis Puttzlocker and Dylan Puttzlocker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother, Roy B. “Sonny” Gordon; and four sisters, Grace Russitanio, Sandra Lewis, Sharon Gordon, and Lida Henshaw. Calling hours will be on Friday, May 11, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday, May 12, from 2-4 p.m. at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook, NH.
