WEST STEWARTSTOWN, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- Mrs. Pauline G. Laflamme, 78, of West Stewartstown, New Hampshire, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a period of failing health. Mrs. Laflamme was born March 7, 1929, in Sawyerville, Québec, a daughter of the late Arthur Lemay and Eva (Beaudoin) Lemay. In 1956, she moved to the United States. Mrs. Laflamme worked for a time as a cook in the logging camps for Brown Company and then enjoyed many years as a homemaker raising her family. Mrs. Laflamme loved to travel and eat out with family and friends. She also loved to spend time playing cards. Mrs. Laflamme spent many many hours volunteering her time, as well, as the Coos County Nursing Home and at St. Albert’s Parish where she was a faithful member for many years. Her most treasured time was always spent with her many friends, her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Mrs. Laflamme leaves behind three sons, Bertrand Laflamme and friend, Sharon Young, Gaetan Laflamme, and Daniel Laflamme and wife, Danielle, all of West Stewartstown, NH; three daughters, Sylvie Rouleau and friend, Chuck Elliott, of Canaan, Vt., Diane Sowell and husband, Ed, of Madbury, NH, and Louise Nichols and husband, Andy, of Sunapee, NH; two brothers, Emile Lemay of Barton, Vt., and Raymond Lemay of West Stewartstown, NH; four sisters, Jeanne Charest of Sherbrooke, Que., Rachel Cadorette of Montreal, Que, Therese Gaboury of St. Hubert, Que., and Muguette Lemay of Sherbrooke, Que.; nine grandchildren, Bertrand Laflamme, Jr., Steve Laflamme, David Laflamme, Bonnie Goodrum, Stephanie Grondin, Nicholas Rouleau, Brittanie Laflamme, Elizabeth Nichols and Drew Nichols; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Laflamme is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ernest and Reno Lemay. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Jenkins & Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert’s Church in West Stewartstown with The Reverend Craig Cheney as celebrant. An interment service will be held at St. Albert’s Cemetery on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with The Reverend Craig Cheney officiating. Mme Laflamme est née le 7 mars, 1929 à Sawyerville, Québec, fille de deu Arthur Lemay et Eva (Beaudoin) Lemay. En 1956, elle est déménagé au Etats-Unis. Mme Laflamme a travaillé comme cuisinère dans les camps de bûcherons pour la Compagnie Brown et pars la suite comme femme au foyer en élevant sa famille. Mme Laflamme aimait voyager et manger a l’exterieure avec les membres de sa famille et amis. Elle aimait aussi jouer aux cartes. Mme Laflamme a devoué plusieurs heures de bénévolat au Coos County Nursing Home et à la paroisse St-Albert ou elle était un membre fidèle pour plusieurs annees. Son temps presieux était passée avec les membres de sa famille, ses petit enfants et nombreux amis. Tous ce souviendront d’elle comme une mère aimante, grand-mère, tante, cousine et amie.
