Ryan T. Frizzell

LEMINGTON – Ryan Thomas Frizzell, “Boru,” 33, of Center Ossipee, NH, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at his parents’ home in Lemington, VT. Ryan was born March 27, 1987, in Littleton, NH, a son to Thomas and Jane (Bissonnette) Frizzell. He lived for a short time in Colebrook, and later moved to Lemington, Vt. He graduated from Colebrook Academy in 2005. Ryan was a talented baseball player, possessing excellent hand-eye coordination and could really swat a baseball! He was also a member of the 2002 Colebrook Academy basketball state champion team. At an early age, his father taught him to play guitar and he became an excellent lead guitarist with a fine singing voice. He played rock, country, and heavy metal all with equal passion. He played in several bands, the most recent being “Northern Lights” with his father Tom, Dwayne Klebe, and Matt Hopkins. He also had a love for firearms and spending time at camp with family and friends. Meacham Swamp, Stub Hill, and Old Orchard Beach were some of his favorite places. His work career was varied and began at Charles White’s dairy farm in Columbia. He then sold cars for a couple of years at Berlin City in Berlin. Ryan was an excellent equipment operator and worked operating skidders and delimbers for several local loggers. His most recent job was as a scaler and crane operator for Kennebec Lumber Co. in Tamworth, NH. In 2012, he met Marecar Malinao and they had a daughter, Ariana Elissabeth, in 2015, and were married in 2017. Ryan was a big influence in raising his stepchildren, Mathew and Caeley and he loved them dearly. Ryan is survived by his wife Marecar and children Mathew, Caeley, and Ariana of Ctr. Ossipee; his parents, Tom and Jane Frizzell of Lemington, Vt.; brother Justin and wife Jennifer, (Kelly and Graydon) of Colebrook; brother Ian Frizzell of Lemington, Vt.; sister Sarah Burrill and husband Brian (Mason and Amelia) of Colebrook; grandmother Elizabeth Frizzell of Colebrook; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ryan was predeceased by his grandfather Donald Frizzell, grandparents Louis and Louise Bissonnette, great-grandmother Marguerite “Rusty” Wiswell, and an aunt Diane Bissonnette. He will be remembered as a humble man with a huge heart, who genuinely loved his family, friends, and music. He was proud of his Scottish, Irish, and French heritage, and was known to wear a kilt while playing music at the Swamp. Due to the ongoing pandemic, services at this time are private. A graveside interment service will be held in the spring of 2021 of which notice will be given.
