Brian W. Beaton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

COLEBROOK – Brian W. Beaton, 57, of Colebrook, passed away unexpectedly at his home early on Thursday morning, Feb. 24, 2022. He was born in Lancaster, N.H., of Sept. 23, 1964, a son to Arthur and Linda (Hopps) Beaton. Brian was raised in the Lancaster-Groveton area. At the time of his passing, Brian was a peer supporter for the Haven in Colebrook. Prior to that, he worked as a talented carpenter and contract painter in the area. He also worked for the Colebrook Carpet Center for many years. Brian loved to hunt and fish, but his greatest love was music. He enjoyed listening to music of all genres, and had an impressive collection of his favorite musicians. He was an artist himself, and enjoyed pencil drawings and he also loved to write poetry. He enjoyed time spent in the garden, especially with his beloved grandmother, and he cherished time spent with his own grandchildren and all of his family. He is survived by his wife, Helena (Morin) Beaton of Colebrook; his parents, Arthur ‘Bob’ and Linda Beaton of Groveton; three daughters, Felicia (Mark) Gray of Stewartstown, Angel (Trevor Lamontagne) Bryant of Colebrook, and Amanda (Nick) Gonyer of Groveton; a son, Michael Savard of Colebrook; a brother, Michael (Wendy) Beaton of Groveton; a sister, Shelley (Linwood ‘Frog’) Potter of Groveton; eight grandchildren (with the 9th on the way); and his nieces and nephews, Brittney Beaton of St. Johnsbury, Vt., Brandon Beaton of Groveton, Robert Beaton of Warner N.H., and Courtney Potter of Groveton; as well as uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is predeceased by his beloved grandmother, Ellen ‘Nan’ Curtis, a sister as a young child, Kelley Beaton, and a nephew, Jason Potter. There are no public calling hours scheduled.
