Russell L. Marcotte Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

COLUMBIA – Russell L. Marcotte, 53, of Columbia, passed away unexpectedly at his home early on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. He was born in Manchester, N.H., on Feb. 9, 1969, and was raised in the southern part of the state. Russell left school early to be able work and take care of his mother, but he eventually obtained his GED as he had promised her he would. Russell was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry before several medical challenges did not allow him to work. He was a man of true grit, a jack-of-all-trades and a do-it-yourself kind of guy. Land was his passion, and he was a true cowboy of the time, except instead of a horse it was an excavator he rode. He will always be a part of his family and never forgotten. He always put others before himself, and taking care of his family was his main concern. He loved to watch John Wayne movies, and he was a hunter in his younger days. Russell leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Debbie (McKenna) Marcotte of Columbia; his daughter, Leighanne Marcotte of Columbia ; a brother, Randy Marcotte of Groveton and his son, Randy Jr. of Alstead, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Marcotte of Derry, N.H., and his niece, Marissa Marcotte of Derry.
