Brendon D. McKeage

PITTSBURG, NH – Mr. Brendon D. McKeage, 62, of Pittsburg, NH, passed away suddenly on Tuesday afternoon, April 20, 2010, at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, NH. He was born in West Stewartstown, NH, on April 1, 1948, a son of Willard McKeage and Irene (Hicks) McKeage. Brendon’s working career was varied. For a short time, he worked at the Beecher Falls Division of Ethan Allen, and then he worked as a truck driver for Sam Hibbard. He also was self-employed with his own truck for a time, and he worked as a heavy equipment operator for Roy Amey Trucking for close to 20 years. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, four-wheeling, and entertaining at his annual pig roast. He also loved animals and raised several small farm animals for many years. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Crystal (Clogston) McKeage of Pittsburg, NH; two sons, Brendon K. McKeage and wife Wanda, of Pittsburg, and Ricky McKeage and wife Tanya of Warren, NH; two daughters, Penny Lea Rancourt and husband, Richard of Columbia, NH, and Stephanie Dube and husband, Rick, of Pittsburg; a brother, Edward McKeage and wife, Judy, of Colebrook, NH; four sisters, Loretta Adams of Colebrook, Wanita McKeage of R.I., Gloria Danello and husband Tom of Franklin, Mass., and Melody Gray of West Stewartstown, NH; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Brendon is predeceased by his parents; a brother, Randall McKeage; a half-sister, Kim Harriman, and a granddaughter, Heather Cross. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Pittsburg Hollow Cemetery on Hill Road in Pittsburg, with Pastor Janet Young officiating.
