Daren S. Klebe

COLEBROOK – Daren Scott Klebe, 59, of Colebrook, affectionately known by his friends as “Darv,” passed away unexpectedly at his home late on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Daren was born on July 16, 1966, in West Stewartstown. He lived his entire life in Colebrook and the surrounding area, where he made not only his home, but a life rooted in hard work, loyalty, and connection to his community. He attended Colebrook schools and was known as an early riser and a dedicated, hardworking man who took pride in all he did. A talented carpenter, Daren had a gift for working with his hands and creating things that would last – a reflection of the care and effort he put into his work and life. Throughout his life, he worked for several contractors in the north country including Rignsons Construction, his brother Danny Klebe and most recently, Boudle Construction. Daren’s favorite pastime was fishing, where he was never opposed to sharing a tall tale about the size or number of his catch. He also took great pride in gardening, woodworking, and grilling, and was known as a good cook. An outdoorsman at heart, he especially enjoyed evenings around a bonfire with friends, sharing a few beers, laughter, and lasting memories. Above all, Daren was incredibly proud of his son, Dawson. He spoke of him often and with great pride, frequently sharing his accomplishments with others. His love for Dawson was evident to all who knew him and was one of the most important parts of his life. Daren will be remembered as a kind and genuine soul. He lived with quiet strength and a deep appreciation for the simple moments that mattered most. He was someone others could count on – steady, thoughtful, and sincere – and will be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, as well as for his laugh and good sense of humor. Daren is survived by his son, Dawson Klebe of Stewartstown; his sisters, Debbie Brooks and her husband Robert of Stewartstown, Shelly Hamilton and her husband Michael of Manchester, and Carmen Rodrigue and her husband Ronnie of Clarksville; his brother, Scott Grover of Columbia; and his sister-in-law, Carrie Klebe of Columbia. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his lifelong best friend, Ernie DesRosiers of Colebrook. He was predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Judi Klebe of Colebrook, and Berkley and Mona Grover of Columbia, as well as his two brothers, Daniel Klebe and Derick Grover. Daren will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched. A celebration honoring Daren’s life will be held at a later date, and details will be shared with family and friends when arrangements are finalized. In honoring Daren’s life, those who knew him are encouraged to hold close the memories they shared and to reflect on the kindness, pride, and steady presence he brought into the world.
